Clay Paky

With the new Alpha 1500 Series Clay Paky brings to

Lighting Designers the most powerful luminaires avail-

able, providing the richest range of effects: infinite col-

or choices, the industry’s most creative imagery, limit-

less control of beam size and shape, unsurpassed

movement speed and acceleration, a user’s friendly in-

terface. Despite their breathtaking power, the Alphas

1500 are the smallest and lightest fixtures in their cat-

egory. Additionally they feature the legendary premi-

um quality of Clay Paky, enhanced by completely new

electronic and mechanical design.

HandsOn: HandsOn is an innovative control system

that allows you to program a medium-sized comput-

erized lighting system using your PC. It transforms your

screen into an intuitive direct access control interface

for any DMX-512 fixture, including lights with conven-

tional lamps or LEDs, dimmers, lasers, smoke machines,

and any other effect. HandsOn consists of a sophisti-

cated software and a revolutionary interface / driver

that looks just like a small connector. It is compatible

with all major PC operating systems: Mac OS X / Mi-

crosoft Windows / Ubuntu Linux.

The HandsOn software already recognizes over 1900

models of DMX fixture; the library may be updated

continuously by connecting to the software website.

HandsOn also provides a complete range of pre-pro-

grammed sequences for controlling Clay Paky light

functions.

It is therefore an ideal tool for every rental company

since it can be used to perform complete and system-

atic tests on lights in the workshop. Alternatively the

system is factory set to perform an optimized demo for

a lighting designer or potential customer.

Mirage – Led Curtain Display: Mirage is a semi-trans-

parent and innovative LED display with video technol-

ogy, belonging to the so-called “see-through” catego-

ry. The LED layout has a distinguished “fish-bone” struc-

ture, where the horizontal bars with the SMD LED are

alternated with void areas, allowing an outstanding de-

gree of transparency.

The display structure is modular, consisting of square

640 x 640 mm modules, the circuitry of which is fully

sealed allowing both indoor and outdoor use.

Mirage is a LED curtain specifically designed for the

rental market, featuring a robust structure and a quick,

tool-less connection system that allows it to be as-

sembled and hanged on a truss system in a matter of

a few minutes.

Roadies and riggers will benefit of extreme light

weight at just 14 kg per square meter, making trans-

portation, handling and rigging very easy and quick.
